Registration Confirmation

Thank you for completing the Registration Form and becoming a herdshare member.

You are now able to visit the Member’s Milk Shed located off of Jackknife Road in Eagle Creek.  Your next step is to read the Frequently Asked Questions.

Where is the Member’s Milkshed located?
Follow the directions to 31165 SE Jackknife Rd in Eagle Creek, this will take you directly to the member’s milk shed located in front of our Blue shop on the road.  If you are in front of a gate with a long driveway heading up to a house, look to your left. Parking at the milkshed is limited, but multiple cars can fit. Please feel free to pull all the way into the parking area to leave room for others to park.

The Members Milk Shed is open 7 days a week from 9AM – 6PM, early or later if using your unique access code, which will be provided to you after your initial visit.

For first-time visitors to the member’s milk shed, we would like to meet you in person to answer any questions that you have and go over the process. Please feel free to text me (Michelle) at 503-729-1101, and I can meet you down there.  If scheduling doesn’t allow, but you still want to stop by, we ask that you make sure to read and understand the Frequently Asked Questions and let us know if any questions come up. Reserved weekly milkshares are at capacity, but we will be offering first come first serve milk located in the Dairy Products Fridge. The first come, first serve milk will be bottled in plastic jugs and sold for $6 per half gallon. Plastic jugs should be recycled after use.

For weekly milkshare holders, on your designated pick up day, a whiteboard will be posted on the wall by the reserved milkshare fridge. This list will indicate the shelf your milk is on and the designated quantity and lid color assigned for the week. Due to the number of weekly Milkshare requests, we will not be able to accommodate biweekly requests. We cap our milk sales at 15-17 gallons per day in order to ensure that I have an adequate supply for all my other products. In addition, during calving season, we will be limited on some dairy products due to drying off cows two months before calving.

Payments must be made before leaving the milkshed; do not leave the shed without paying.

We firmly believe in the honor system, which is why we value meeting each and every one of our members. Twisted Oak Farm only accepts Cash or Venmo. Venmo QR codes are located within the Milk Shed above the inventory log or on the shelf where the item is located. For all purchases, you will need to complete the inventory log each time you visit the milkshed.
When paying through Venmo, you will need to use the “Venmo friends and family” which refers to standard peer-to-peer transactions on the Venmo app, these transactions are then free when funded by a linked bank account, debit card, or Venmo balance. To ensure a payment is treated as “friends and family,” make sure you do not have the “goods and services” toggle turned on, as this will charge a service fee to the vendor.

Don’t have Venmo? Click Here to create your Venmo account

In addition, the Milk Shed hosts weekly vendors who will have marked envelopes with their vendor number to use for their products. Each vendor (except for egg vendors whom we prepay) needs to be paid independently. This is a community project that focuses on local sustainability, so our vendors receive 100% of the profit for their product.

If you would like to schedule a Farm Tour and meet the cows, please feel free to text me to coordinate a time. The farm and storefront is not open to the public and you must be a member to shop. Guests are welcome to visit the store with members present, but are not allowed to purchase anything unless they sign up for the herdshare.

Please know that tours cannot be accommodated upon demand. On top of farming full-time, we also have full-time jobs, but teaching and promoting local food sourcing, sustainability, and community involvement is our guiding mission.
