Appenzeller 10.00

Appenzeller cheese has a nutty flavor with a hint of herbal spiciness, and can range from mild to tangy depending on how long it’s aged. The cheese’s flavor profile is also influenced by the brine it’s cured in, which is made with a secret blend of herbs, roots, leaves, petals, seeds, and rinds. At Twisted Oak Farm, our Appenzeller is rubbed in a special “Just Rum” Spiced Rum blend.
